Cosmetics expert offers tips and advice for women in mid-Missouri

Columbia, MO (Grassroots Newswire) - SenseCosmetics makers of LipSense and Melanie Forrest  will be hosting a Glamour Luncheon with the famous Hollywood Makeup Artist, Lisa Monette on Saturday, January 27 in Columbia Missouri from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Cru Restaurant.

Monette has received numerous awards for her makeup artistry and has applied makeup on numerous movie stars. "We are very excited to have her in the mid-Missouri area for this event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association", says Forrest.

Makeup artist Lisa Monette can make anyone look and feel like a star. With an instant sweep of her sable brush and a dusting of shimmer face powder, she can bring out your celebrity in mere minutes. Lisa is an international artist who created and runs On Location Artists ( O.L.A.), a company that started in Newport Beach California, and has expanded to Las Vegas, Atlanta and New York.

Since the beginning of her career, she has worked on perfecting the look of local faces as well as countless celebrities. You’ve seen her work featured on Emmy Award nominee from the Young and The Restless and General Hospital, Amy Gibson to billion dollar banker and film producer, Christina Dodge.  She specializes in print, film, fashion as well as to corporations, brides, wedding parties and other special events such as her signature “Celebrity Makeup Workshops.”

A celebrity in her own right, Monette has worked her makeup magic on Olympic and National figure skating sensations Sasha Cohen, Naomi Nam and Angela Nikodinav. She has worked as an executive artist for Chanel, became a national executive for the chic Paris line Make Up For Ever where she produced guest events on the west coast with makeup artist Matthew Van Leeween, the personal artist to stars such as J Lo, Drew Barrymore and Selma Hayek.
